| What is "news"? There are several definitions of news written in the books. But in my view News is anything usual or unusual that attracts the readers to itself and they did not move their eyes unless they finishes reading it. |
| To you, what is objectivity? Objectivity is the thing which serves some purpose. |
| What is the best headline you have ever read? "Police ruled the law" |
| What headline would you like to see printed one day in the newspaper? "USA defeated by Iran" lol |
| Which paper do you buy on Sundays? Where do you read it? I got four complimentary papers so I did not buy a newspaper. |
| Does freedom of expression end where the editorial line begins? No |
| Do you feel that analytical and investigative journalism is being lost? No this is not true. I think in developing countries both analytical and investigative journalism is present and thriving. |
| With a camera on every mobile phone, is every citizen becoming a correspondent? Camera in cellphones is good but everyone can not be a correspondent only because he/she has a camera in mobile phone. For being a Reporter or Correspondent, one have to be a sharp eye and specific mind to catch the news. |
| How would you explain the boom of the tabloid press? They are booming because they printed scandalous stories, which people wanted to read. |
| What is your position regarding the right to privacy of famous people? I believe that famous people also have a right to privacy but as they are public figures so if they do anything in their life can be a news for the general public and their followers. |
| What can you teach us about the art of the interview? Conducting interview is not a normal thing and every reporter or correspondent can not conduct interview in its true meanings. First the reporter carrying out an interview should have all the background information about the person, his/her activities, personal as well as official. This will help him in asking specific and pinching questions during the interview. The main rule for conducting an interview is "Never start with hard questions". |

| Would you say the journalism blog is revolutionizing the profession? Blogging is a very healthy and nice activity and journalists are getting a very good feedback of their news and articles from the readers. |
| Will the paper press disappear? No i think paper press will continue to prevail. It has its own importance, which can not be ignored. |
| What are your thoughts of the free papers distributed in cities? Distribution of free papers in city is a good thing and it should be promoted more to increase readership. |
| What is the book you would like to write? If I ever write a book, its title will be
"Unprinted truth" |
| Is there a motto or ethical principle that clarifies your decisions in moments of confusion? Yes. i believe that people have a right to know and this is our job to provide them information. |
| What advice would you give to someone who has just left university and wishes to start in the profession? Be sincere with your work. try to do more leg work instead of gathering news on telephone or watching channels. Visiting spot is must for a reporter. |
