My brother was my first student. i used to help him in his studies. gradually I gave education for my younger cousins also. Also my Mother is a Teacher. May be.. all these factors makes an interest in Education. |
 | Who was your most influential teacher and why? This is quite a good question, because almost all the teachers who had taught me influenced me alot. Everyone have their own Teaching style. I used to watch them eagerly. |
 | What is your educational philosophy? Strive to create a nurturing, secure and happy environment in which all children can explore ideas and experience success in a learning situation thus enhancing self-esteem. |
 | What is the most challenging aspect of teaching for you? -develop a positive attitude towards their own learning and that of others, learn from mistakes and value others’ contributions
-take responsibility for their actions and prepare themselves in becoming responsible for their own learning as a self-motivated and disciplined individual
I think this was littile bit a challenging aspect for me. |

 | What is your philosophy on homework and grading? Homework is good to a limit. But dont give it as a burden to them.
Especially for Literacy and Numeracy, homework helps to improve their ideas.
Grading is very important bcoz it helps them to know how good they are in their studies.
Also it helps them to boost their studies. |
 | Is it possible to teach creativity? how? Yes, it is..
By identifying children's individual and collective learning needs and planning, preparing and delivering instruction that caters for the full ability range within the class. |
 | How do you establish authority? What do you do when a discipline problem arises? Establish an authority is the main factor for this profession. We can make rules at the very first day and show them the policies they need to follow. It should be followed very strictly so that they will get an idea of a disciplined behaviour. What I am doing is to make up for those who are the best should be honoured with small rewards like stickers of stars. Also if necessary punish the undisciplined student. |
 | How do you individualize your teaching? How do you handle the different ability levels of students in classes? I used to prepare the lessons at home. It helps me to coordinate all the classes easily with best resources and activities for students.
I pay more attention to the weakest students and help them to achieve progress in their studies. |
 | What cooperative learning means to you. How have you used it? I think it is a learning technique, which I used to try in my classes and it works fine.
