Interview with:Anthony Ferreri [anthonyferreri]
MOVIES-TV
What is your specialty? Production, direction, something else? I'm trying to be valuable in all aspects of production, but I specialize more in post, like editing, compositing and graphics. I love to shoot and direct, too.
| Is there a link to a site where we can see references to your work? You can see my work and my interactive website at:

How did you begin in this field? Who introduced you to it? I was part of my high school's video production program, where I shot and edited our weekly news program. That's my official start. Professionally, I had to find work on my own, and eventually landed a freelance audio editing job with iScript.com. I worked in radio for several years prior to moving to Hollywood.
Which have been the most symbolic works of your career? So far, my favorites are my short, "Michael James Bond in the Orifice of Doom" and the music video I shot for The Gravity Guild, entitled, "SLO". "SCUM", a short I shot near the end of my Senior year in high school, garnered local acclaim and eventually went overseas.
Do you work for a client, for the audience, or for your own creative adventure? Right now I work for my own adventure. Hopefully next year I'll have some clients.
What should a good script have in order to interest you? An interesting story and well-written dialogue.
Name three contemporary directors or producers that you admire. Kevin Smith, Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci.
What movies or television shows inspired you to work in this field? Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1973), Goodfellas, and U-Turn made me want to make movies.
Are you the type who instantly knows when a take is good, or one who does another three takes to be safe? I usually take a couple more takes to make sure I have selections when editing.
Do you enjoy post-production, or do you prefer to leave that in the hands of other professionals? I love post!
