Interview with:

Lena Karpinsky [artbylena]

ART
Do you upload your work to the web? If so, where could we see it?
My official website is www.ARTbyLENA.com
There you can see my recent artworks and also order re-makes of my past works.

In addition, I maintain a "Home Decor Art" blog where I publish some of my collectors photos from their homes: www.SmartLook.com
What do you think about public funding for the arts?
"Corruption" is the first word that comes in mind...
Does it pain you to let go of a piece you have sold?
No, not at all!

I love when my artworks find their new homes. Painting is a part of interior. It must be on the wall and not on a shelf :-)
How do you feel about the fact that the pieces exhibited in contemporary art museums are often of artists already deceased?
I feel very comfortable with that. "Museum" is for something that is already a "past".

Another question is should we continue calling the 20th century art "contemporary"?
