Interview with:

Albertus Van Wyk [artcore]

What do you do? How do you define yourself as an artist?
I am an Autodidactic Artist, former dental practician ,with good knowledge and "maitrise" of many materials as: Wax,plaster, resins, alloy's,porçelain, and their elaboration wich gave me a sound basis to consider Art as a natural evolution of my personal cultural lugage. To express this i created specific alloy's to work with: Aenors, Spirit of Aenors and working on Aenors Diamagnetic Bronz (Aenors is the alphabetical order of the idiome reason, and my trademark for the alloy's)
What is your message?
Natura Deo Est, Religio Litteratura Est!
Your biography in four lines.
Born in Wilhelmshaven in 1945, raised in Rotterdam until my 5th year, then in Cagnes sur mer until my 14th year, after wich i returned to holland and my fathers Dental clinic where i became a dental practician according to the old methods 'learning in the workshop'. At 20 years i established my first private dental clinic (in holland it is lawfull for a non dentist to operate such enterprise after a law adopted specifically against/or more precisely to regulate the activity's of my father Jean Van Wyk)
Do you upload your work to the web? If so, where could we see it?
I have a virtual showroom/workshop/pay and refund desk online at: http:www.aenors.com One of the special conditions under wich i sell my good's is that they have a granted nominal refund value at 36 month's,if returned sound (for he 75€valuetainer75€ also sealed, since it contains also a lottery chance on 200 to win an 11.5Grs Aenors Dreamshare, and have to unseal to play the game)! This means as far as i am aware i am the first Artist not only granting the value of his work , but offer approximatly 9%interest on a 36 month's investment in my commodity's!
How is an idea born? For you, what is inspiration?
I'ts like 'growing an embryo' from an idea towards the final artefact, trhue meditation, action and material execution.
What role does technology play in your creative process?
the technology comes after i the proces of realisation , the creative proces is intelectual.
What is art?
art is the first material expression of intellect and start's with making, spears, nives, fire, coocking food's to render it more 'digest' ,etc.........
When do you get your best ideas?
Inspiration has not a calendar or clock! There are some favorable circumstances ,like a peaceful mind, wich is rare in our era where we are "pressed to produce" from birth's to death!

By the author alone!

They own the item with the 'moment of spirituality' in which the item has being 'fabricated'
In art, there is no guide. How do you know what the next step is?
The practice of artefacture and the consequent improvment of skill's and knowledge is a guide in itself !
How do you feel about the fact that the pieces exhibited in contemporary art museums are often of artists already deceased?
Because the artist generally is in advance in his era and therefore considered as a trhead to the 'Established Order' and political correct academical practicionars.
What role have the figures of art dealer, gallery owners, representatives, and intermediaries in general played in your career?
As my close friend G.Gurdjieff would say: Be Aware of Specialist's, Expert's, and that sort of go betweens If you've nothing new to show they might parasite you on contract!

Our world is the consequence of a number of favorable circumstances in a given 'Moment' in the 'universe' as knowen now it's expansive and still going , thinking of our 'world' as something significative in universe is grotesc,conceited,arrogant,stuck-up,bumptius,we are the result of a serial of (happy?)coincidences, fortuitys, casualness! you may quote me!
