EDUCATION
 | What subjects do you teach? What types of students do you have? I teach Art. The students are Middle school age. The school is Portola Middle School in Orange and it has an incredible GATE, Math, Music and Art Program. The students are interested in learning and the work shows the wonderful talent. |

| How have your past experiences prepared you for teaching? How did you become interested in education? I worked as an artist for a large company in the surf industry and sell paintings. I received a BFA in Drawing and Painting from California State University Long Beach. I have always been interested in Art Education and the power it can give to certain students. |
| Is it possible to teach creativity? how? Creativity can come from their interests. This can be helped by the teacher but the student will find the way. |
| What issues in education are of greatest concern to you? Keeping students in the school and showing them their skills. |
| What are some ways you have incorporated technology into the classroom. I have created a website for students to see their art and writing. |
| In light of new technologies, do we need to reinvent the school, its methods and objectives? New technology will help students learn. |
| If you could create the ideal school, what would it be like? Students finding their skills and learning all about that subject. Other subjects interconnected to their skill. Students creating their schedule. |
| What do you think schools will be like in 20 years? Touch screen technology. |
| What are your professional goals? Where do you want to be in five years? Teaching |
| What qualities would you need to see in someone before advising him/her to go into teaching? Love to learn. |
