 | What subjects do you teach? What types of students do you have? I am an independent ICT education consultant. Following several years of primary classroom teaching, I have also worked as an advisory teacher for UK local authorities before working independently. I currently work for a wide range of clients in the education sector working with children and young people of all ages. I have a particular interest in developing the use of digital creativity and multimedia technologies in the classroom and a passion for Macs! |

 | If you could create the ideal school, what would it be like? ...difficult to get it right - not sure its possible actually! Ive seen some excellent examples of modern design with BSF in the UK BUT they are all flawed .....accessible and inclusive are key but a good learning environment is essential - I don't like open plan for students - too distracting! Students need to focus and concentrate - how can they with open plan classrooms, corridors, walkways and balconies??
A laptop for all, a personal place to save your work, great internet connection, whiteboards and cool creativity software like the iLife suite.....now were talking! |
