 | For how long have you done photography? How did you begin? 15 years |
 | What has been your education as a photographer? School and hands on experience. |

 | What is your favourite type of photography? Children's portraiture |
 | What do you try to express through your photography? A love of life and family. |
 | How do you choose your subjects? They find me, or I see something I must freeze in time. |
 | What type of preparation do you do before undertaking the photo session? Pack bag, extra batteries, check weather. |
 | Do you normally photograph with a purpose already in mind, or do you let yourself go with the flow? A bit of both. |
 | Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sigma, Olympus, Sony, Pentax...which do you place your bets on and why? Canon 100%..they have never let me down. |
 | Describe your current equipment: cameras, lenses, computers, accessories... All my favorites. Try everything and choose your own. |
 | What software and plug-ins do you use to retouch and manage your photos? Elements. |
 | What measures do you take to protect your work against Internet piracy? Copyright stamp, never post what i don't want to share. |
 | Are you a good salesperson of your work? In what should you improve? My art sells itself. |
 | Which past masters of photography do you most admire? Ansel Adams. |
 | Are technology and digital retouching reducing the gap between professionals and amateurs? Nope. True photography is only minimally touched after it is taken. The rest is art, but not photography. Pros know this, amateurs do not. |
 | What is your team of habitual collaborators like? Non existent. |
 | With which other photographers do you normally team up with or do sessions with? Many friends and club associates. |
 | Do you consider yourself more technical or more artistic? Artistic. |
 | What have you learned about the art of framing and composition? It is in the eye of the photographer, and can alter the beauty of all images. |
 | How does one develop the instinct of knowing when to press the shutter release button? By picking up a camera, and using it. |
 | When should one use film, and when should one use digital? Start with film. Learn how to take a picture, then move to digital if you want to try something else. |
 | Does photography have the recognition that it should have in contemporary art museums? No. |
 | Which websites for photographers do you frequently visit? None...I browse many to see what is the trend. |
 | Is there any particular technique that you could share? get down low, or climb up high, the world changes from a different perspective. |
