They came for the treatment of their illness.

 | What is your definition of health, and of a healthy life? According to Homeopathy, health (and disease) is a dynamic entitiy. Health is not just merely an absence of disease. Disease is a total affection of mind and body, the disturbance of the whole organism. The parts of the body do not independently get sick. It is the whole person who is affected by the disease and it is the whole person who responds to the medicine. |
 | What are some basic rules for those who want to live to be 100. 1. One has to be happy to live to be 100. Happiness comes from within when you are contented.
2. Don't be at extremities. Have a balanced approach in life for everyting.
3. Don't be over-emotional. Emotions drains you mentally and physically.
4. Don't do over-medication and over-dependent upon medicines. Live with nature.
5. Do yoga, pranayam, & meditation |
 | Happiness and health: how much do they have in common, and how much myth is there in their relationship? 100% in common.
0% myth |
 | Conventional medicine and alternative medicine: what is real and what is superstition? Both conventional medicine and alternative medicine is real.
Conventional, alternative or complementary is as per see.
A person who prefers, let's say homeopathic medicine, as a first line of treatment, conventional medicine is an complementary/alternative for him/her.
Likewise a person who took conventional medicine as first line of treatment, other forms of treatment are complementary/alternative. |
 | Can the mind cause or cure illness? What evidence do you have on the matter? Most (not all) illnesses have their roots on mental plane. Emotions are closely related to person’s glands and nerves. The mind/emotions have real power to influence over the working of the physical body. Homeopathy is based on the fact that the person’s experience in emotional and mental (state of mind) life can not be separated from their physical complaints (body). |
 | Do you recommend Vitamins and nutritional supplements? Do you believe their benefits have been proven? Yes, but not as a routine prescription and not on mega doses |
 | Every day there is a new product to stop aging. Is it solace that we are really buying? More or less, yes.
Aging is inevitable |
 | Obesity, insomnia, and depression, are epidemic. What does that say about our way of life? What must be changed at the social level? We are getting too mechanical, getting away from nature. We have stopped enjoying finer things in life. We find solace in machines, not in relationships
Prevention & Life style modification is the need of the hour. |
 | What is your opinion on the use of medical marijuana for terminal illnesses. It helps |
 | The patient/doctor relationship is part of the success of treatment. What should it be like? Same as that of a child/parent: caring |
 | What is the best way to give bad news to a patient? Give the news to the patient's guardian |
 | Is the best preventive medicine teaching someone how to live? 'How to live' is an art. It has nothing to do with medicine. Being alive is not life. |
 | What are the most frequent errors of slimming diets. You do more (in excess of moderation) than what is required. |
 | Are too many unnecessary tests and x-rays performed in hospitals? Too many, I would not say, but definitely more than what is needed. |
 | What new technologies have the most potential to save lives in the near future? Advancements in Surgery |
 | What is your opinion on the regulation of health care practice. It varies from country to country. As far as people demand something, governments are obliged to provide. |
 | Of the thousands of beauty products on the market, what percentage has a significant effect? Very little |
 | What areas of health or of medicine are you most interested in devoting yourself to in the next few years? Preventive Medicine |
 | Would you change your profession for any another? No.
Helping people with homeopathy enables them live happier and more balanced lives. |
