How do you deal with discouragement, despair, a sense of setback, etc.?

My personal Nia practice is one way I deal with challenges in life. To go into my body, move and express, sound and release, be still and just breath my organic way I find enlightening and calming.
Hard and difficult times will always be there, that is a given. I try to think of these times as an opportunity, to make change, and just notice what I am feeling. I then know when the up slope is approaching how great it feels!
