I have read a great many books!
In medical school, I was a fan of Robbins and Cotran Basis of Pathology. Later, as a neurosurgery resident, I read Dr. Setti Rengachary's Textbook, Operative Atlas of Neurosurgery.
Dr. Setti Rengachary was a neurosurgery professor where I trained as a neurosurgery resident -at the Wayne State University, Michigan. He inspired me to learn, learn, learn and then write.
It was my wife, Roxanne, that first read my Handbook of Neurosurgery and Neurology in Pediatrics; a project that I undertook while rotating at Children's Hospital of Michigan. It was then that I developed a publishing company and wrote the Neurosurgery Board Review Flashcards- the Colen Flash-Review: Neurosurgery. |
