WRITING

Do you share rough drafts of your writings with someone whose opinion you trust?

Whohub

Yes. I think all writers are paranoid that someone will steal their ideas, but I find feedback can help improve your story a lot. Though it can get confusing when you give out several drafts to people you trust, and they all think completely different things. Everyone has a different opinions, so at the end of the day it is up to you, and what you want to write about.

I've found that strangers critique is better then people you know, because strangers aren't afraid to be honest, while people you know fear they'll hurt your feelings. But, this also depends on who you know. My family is quite honest, a little too honest sometimes, but I never take it to heart.
