I can't remember the first thing I read but I do remember the first literary work I read. At the age of 14 while living in a Children's Home, I remember the House Parent (for want of a better phrase) loaned me a book called My Lady Nicotine by JM Barry.

My first attempt at writing was on a fan fiction forum. I read many stories from other writers - some good, some very, very bad - and decided to give it a go.
