What is your creative process like? What happens before sitting down to write?

This is a question I dont really know how to answer. I don't think I have a creative process that I do before sitting down and writing. However, I don't even do that. I'll just go on with life as I go and if the story comes to my head, I will write it down on a book I usually carry around so I can out them down in proper sentence into my story.
