I agree with the founder of smashwords that the big six in manhattan are notorious for closing arms and not letting anyone the deem unfit in to there hallowed haunts! i sent out over three hundred query letters and got rejected straight out. One literary agent took my manuscript and said months later i shouldv develop this small charcter into a larger part! i told her promptly that she should write her own book and develop her own characters Ralph keyes in his books on writing say s that most of this big publishing crowd makes a fatal mistake They don't like it! since they don't like it it is quiclky deemed asthey will unfit for readers and trashed! all on the premise of their pea brained opinion! they wiil not admit it but the publishing world paradigm is shifting and it is shifting fast! oh how the mighty have fallen! |
