I went to the University of Alabama and had the privilege of having two really great academic advisors. My first, Tom Reichert really encouraged me to look into some competitive internships and to him, my age and academic level was never an issue for pursuing my future aggressively. My other advisor, Tracy Sims was such an encouragement to me in the field and in pursuing my degree. She really helped me channel my passion for advertising and served as a wonderful mentor.
