I always start with a purpose. Whether I'm on a casual outing with friends or an event, I have somewhat of an idea to what I would like to photograph. As the day (or night) continues, however, I usually end up going with the flow. New ideas pop into my head based on what my surroundings are and I can't help but to change things up a little.
