I never think any of my songs are finished. I scrap them all the time, or sometimes, i have a piano backing part that i've written so I write lyrics to it, scrap them several times and just keep changing the lyrics and concept until i'm finally content. I could chop and change my songs forever but there comes a point when I want to keep it raw and like it was in the beginning so I just decide to stop and keep it as it is.
