I am in favor of legalization of many things, as long as they are regulated. For example, we legalized the intake of alcohol, but we set solid laws about not operating motor vehicles while intoxicated. These laws come with appropriately severe penalties when someone who chose not to use an intoxicant is hurt due to the carelessness of someone who chose to use one.

Legalize and regulate severely.
