I would recommend to think ahead what you need or the concept you want to follow. When it comes to furniture it has to be based upon and taking into account the needs of the people using it (kids, pets, elderly) as well as the space that is available for the pieces. Measuring and trying to find a cohesive concept of style even when theres mixing of prints or designs, makes it easier to stay on track and on budget.
For clothes it depends. Do you need more pieces for work, travel, going out or hanging out with children. It depends of the needs and mood. Some people spend more time home or at work so their clothes should fit their lifestyle not the other way around. Others travel with frequency, so they need clothing that will stay in shape and wont wrinkle. |
