IDEAS

Do you boycott brands if you learn they employ children in third-world countries or harm the environment?

No. Why? What good is one person, or even a few thousand people not buying a single product going to do to hurt said company or product? Apple for example. All these wild, and outrageous claims started coming forth after Steve Jobs died a few months ago, about rampant employee suicides, child labor, less than humane working conditions, etc. Even if these claims were false, did it stop people from buying iPhones or iPads? Nope. Boycotting only works on large scale, national levels. Not just a few people making ridiculous claims about a product in order to stop their friends from buying things the group mentality doesn't approve of.
