Lechlade Festival is a 2 day music festival in the Cotswolds. Lechlade is a pretty market town on the river Thames, at the highest navigable point. The idea of a festival had been discussed in the town for some time as many of the surrounding towns and villages have arts festivals. We decided enough talk and just get on with it!
We wanted the festival to be accessible and to highlight Lechlade as a vibrant and beautiful place to visit. Hence we decided to focus on talent from the UK's South West and to keep the costs as low as possible. Ticket prices are therefore very low compared to other music festivals and children aged 12 and under get in free. |
