If you need to name the ever-present energy which is in all of existence then "God" is not a "he" or a "she". It is not judgmental or segregating. It is based in unconditional Love, pure and simple. It is so simple that the modern human brain can't accept it. That's why we have opulent man-made structures, and hierarchical religious systems. Power and control is an awesome achievement by major religions.
