What do you mean when I tell them? Not really. I don't proactively tell them and when they ask, I tend to steer the conversation a different direction, unless the person is really interested. As it's not a glamorous profession and it's relatively alien to people who don't work in it, it's natural that it isn't that interesting unless the person is also in the same field.
