WRITING

What is your creative process like? What happens before sitting down to write?

Whohub

When I sit down to write a story it is a strange process. For me, I never really have a clear picture of where things will go. Sometimes it is simply an opening sentence I have in my head, I write it down and let things go where they go. Other times I have an idea of a setting, a moral issue, a thin plot and begin to write based on that. Even if I think I know where a story will go, or how it will end, I never really plan anything out as things can change so much through the writing process. I like to let the story take me where it wants to go.
