I don't recall ever thinking "I want to be a make up artist" though I was totally absorbed in all the artistic subjects at school. When I was little I was always making something out of nothing in particular; pieces of cardboard, plastic cups and tape were my favourite toys. I went on to study Public Relations at university and started out as a stylist/publicist for a fashion PR company, which is how I became involved with make up. I'd definitely say I'm a creative person but I'm also incredibly organised and I crave structure too. |
