I first read Nancy Drew books, Happy Hollister Books, and just about everything else I could get my hands on.

I started writing in earnest when I was in Junior High. It was an outlet to express my thoughts and feelings. My Great Aunt Louisa was the first to read what I wrote. I spent a lot of time with her growing up and she was a schoolteacher. She taught English and History for over 50 years. She was my biggest inspiration and fan.
