Yes, reader feed-back lets me know if my objectives have been achieved. Does the piece come across the way I intended? Is there a continuity in the flow with clear objectives? Is certain punctuation required to allow for parenthetical thought? I listen very closely and work pieces over several times until I am satisfied. I work on my own deadlines as much as possible to reduce stress. Writing should never not be fun. I am a much prolific writer when I am inspired sometimes even more so when I am stressed. I try to use the stress positively.
