I don't believe in creative process. A process completely detracts from the meaning of the word 'creative'. It's more of a creative 'flow'.
Mine is inconsistent and temperamental.
I'll write solidly for 3 months, and then have a dry spell for 3 months. Most of the time I start with a simple riff on guitar, or a chord sequence, and then brainstorm how it can be done electronically, to give it a strange, new feel. From there, it's lyrics, record vocals and harmonies, mix and master, and the song is done.
