I think one does eventually find their voice. For me, I'm in the early stages of establishing it. My writing still reflects what I'm reading, which is funny in a way, but also annoying. Voice is an ongoing process, but it can be found. Those writers we hold dear are often those that have found their voice and brought it to full potential.
