That's a great question!! I think that for the most part, creativity can be taught. Though I also do believe, one is born with various elements of creativity. It doesn't have to be visual, it can be the way a student is able to express themselves verbally, through their thoughts and other ways. I do incorporate a "creative" element to every course I teach. Be it a group assignment, a video analysis, examining an ad campaign, discussing celebrity culture etc...
