Yes and no... some youngsters have a natural gift of conceptualizing and composition.. but I think today's emphasis can too easily be put on software skills instead of design process.
Past generations seem to be much more gifted in building something out of nothing... when you don't have all the new effects and filters, you are sometimes forced to process a design problem from it's core.
....there are always exceptions to both of these. Good designers are coming up everyday. |
