Do you consider yourself more technical or more artistic?

I have done this for a long time. I am technically proficient enough to do most anything I want to do or have been assigned to do.
I work on the creativity full time. Yes, I do believe I am artistic, but that is really for the legacy folks to decide, not me. I just want to make photographs I think are cool.

A bit of both.
Photography is a marriage of both, though with a 20/80% technical/artistic split.
I try to balance the two worlds.
I definitely try to maintain artistic style and feel in much of my work, but a deep technical understanding of what i'm doing helps ensure that I can achieve what I want without the anxiety of trial and error. If I'm working with a vintage camera, for example, I want to understand every technical strength and flaw about it, so that I can best make it work for me. Lack of technical understanding often means missing the moment or disappointing contact sheets.
Iam an artist first but i keep myself updated on the latest techniques and trends.

Artistic, I still got a lot to learn.
I think that to be successful and create effective and useable work you need to have a mixture of both.

Absolutely more artistic. I am a computer no-nothing. I am lucky to be able to download the camera, edit my photographs and be able to upload them to my website. Anything more than that requires the loving help of my very smart, very computer capable husband. He has COMPLETE job security.
