What is your team of habitual collaborators like?
My team is great. They are all professionals and get paid for their work.
When they work with me they are all focused of getting good images and follow my lead. If they want to add something I am always open to suggestions.
I pretty much a one man gang , but I do have designers & printers I can call on
very patient- I know sometimes it's hard to drop your own agenda and follow the story, but that the mission and that's what happens. Most that I work with tolerate my appetite for going out of bounds.
We are a nice team of make-up, dresser, an assistant phtographer and the photographer. Our infographists for retouching are a la pige. The gang will be complete with a photoretouching and a salesperson.

I generally work on my own, but I do have colleagues in the industry that I brainstorm with including other photographers and technicians.
Oddly enough it is usually just me and my camera. I sometimes work with an art director but rarely. I do very little fashion so I tend not to work with make-up artists or stylists.
When I get really busy w/ the commercial side of things I hire an editor to do the touch ups and syndication.
Client and myself. But I team up with a bigger chain of actors if the project's complexity demands it so.

A small crew of 4 or 5 people in shoots that require that kind of attention, otherwise is just me.
All my team is versatile with lighting, hair, make-up, wardrobe, and set-dressing.
We all wear many hats on the job !

Rock-n-rollers, rock musicians, crazy assed fruits that your mother warned you about, end up being my "collaborators", because without spice - life would be just plain BORING.
