Now days, the equipment are all capable. We have our favorite because whatever the reason, but I've shot Canon, Nikon, Pentax... Some does a better job at certain situations but at the end they are tools to use. Now I'm shooting Nikon but about to switch (again) to Canon because of their superior video capabilities.
I use a Canon and have for years and years and years.
Canon Digital now. Was Hasselblad.
SONY, I also love to have a Canon and Nikon. Sony has been a great experience for me for the last few years how ever my camera is not a professional camera.
I use Pentax SLR camera (first was istD, now K20), and lenses of Pentax, Sigma and Tamron. I do not have so much money to buy hi-end lenses and cameras such as Canon 1D mark III and so on, and Pentax has good rate of price and quality.
Nikon, nothing else... no certain reason, i just felt that I have great chemistry using Nikon!
i am using canon right now. but equipment is irrelevant to the creative process. so i don't put a lot of emphasis on that part of photography. unlike many photographers, i am not an equipment geek.
Canon, they haven't failed me yet.
Canon, nice entry level cameras and are affordable and give you excellent quality shots that you value. A good camera keeps memories alive.
If I had the money, I would definitely buy a Canon or a Nikon. They are both quality brands that have proven themselves worthy of many photographers. Yet, here I am stuck with a cheap, Fuji camera that is starting to die (probably from all of the times I have dropped it by accident).
Canon, Canon, & Canon. Great technical superiority plus the cameras are very convenient to handle.
I am a Nikon fanboy, without question. In the beginning it was merely because their camera felt more robust in my hand, then I had the misfortune of having a camera run over by a 4WD. I lost the lens, but the camera survived and I finished the shoot with it, which just goes to prove that Nikon build their gear like tanks.
I use a Nikon D60 and love it! I have used a Sony Digital (small pink one) but mostly use Canon now.
Nikon because I work with it, and Canon because I respect it for quality |
