What do you try to express through your photography?

Whohub

The beauty of nature. I try to get the smallest details in all of my pictures like, a certain color in a piece of grass or something.

I don't really try to express anything in my work. To me it's a fascination with capturing a moment that will never be repeated the same exact way again. When photographing people, I live for catching the real person. Not the posed self, but the one who thinks they have to pose.

The essence of people is same, language, color of skin, culture and religion are vary though.

When it comes to portraits, I think every photographer wants to see something of there subject's personality come across in their pictures, although this is a lot harder than people think. Not everyone feels like 'themselves' in front of the lens. I think Richard Avedon said "A photographic portrait is a picture of someone who knows he is being photographed", and that's the problem there.

The passion that enables the view to feel like they are the photographer when viewing my photographs. To put the viewing in the scene.

I try to express the beauty of God's creation through my photography.

I feel that I have always viewed things in a very unique and interesting way. I hope that my work shows some of the interesting details and angles that I notice from every day things.

I'm trying emotions..

People respond to my photos, and one of the most encouraging remarks was when someone wrote that my work is "emotive". (I had to grab my dictionary and look up the word.)

Stirring the emotions of a viewer is quite the compliment. I'm happy to hear feedback like that, because when I'm out on a photo shoot, I do feel a certain emotion as I'm setting up a shot. My goal is to present the fine details that many people don't ever notice in their rush through life. I believe I am accomplishing that.

Extreme emotion (joy, sadness, peace, love, etc).

The reality as true and beatiful as it is.

Emotion and movement.

Show people what they look at but don't seem to "see", there's so much beauty in this (ugly) world!

I try to bring new light and a new perspective to every-day common places and things. When it comes to people, I try to show a personality more than just a mood.

I try to capture the moment and the character of the model/ environment rather than fixed/ frozen images
