What is your favourite type of photography?
I love taking nature photography. And of course, The Baby. I also like candid people shots.
Natural landscapes and scenic work. Low Light Photography.
Reportage, street and concept based photography
My favorite photo shoot comes each October when I shoot group and individual portaits for the Confirmation students at my Church. It is wonderful to be part of the joyous event in the lives of these young adults.
Other than that fact, I would say that my favorite type of photography is the one I am shooting and/or processing next!
Every different type has it's own beauty and significance, so I don't really have a favorite.
I enjoy classic photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson, where composition and catching a moment are key. but I also enjoy studio and planned photography, like fashion photography, where every detail is analyzed and planned, and picked for color, and photoshop also plays a major role. I enjoy documentary photography, because I like to document my life, and document my friends and family. There are so many ways to use photography.
I love working with people, whether it be Portraits, families, weddings, events, sports, fashion or pets. I love working with them all. I have a very outgoing and bold personality but the the most received feedback I get is how comfortable I am to work with. As the photographer you are the one controlling the feel of the shoot. If you are stressed or unhappy the subject picks up on this and is not going to give you want you want. I have always said that you can look back at the RAW images of a shoot and tell at what point the model or subject has become comfortable in front of the camera.
Portraits and land/city scapes
Art pictures linked with fashion.
I love destination weddings, children portraits, young family portraits, and maternity portraits.
environmental portraits are my favorite work to create, followed by the work i do with bands. there's a lot of creativity involved in putting together a music photoshoot and i really enjoy that aspect of it.
Studio work is usually my favorite because I can have so much control over the lighting and set up. I love to make costumes and paint back drops too so with studio photography I am able to incorporate my other passions into a final composition.
I love photographing people. Documentary and photojournalism are my 2 Fav's
The creative type its so natural to talk a client through the moment until the shot is just the way it should be from the eyepiece of my viewfinder.
