I have won prizes in a couple of local contests, but nothing major.
For now I have no respect. but I'll try so I can get the award.
I won first place in the first photography contest I've joined last year. The competition is in accordance to our school's earth month celebration.

My photograph of the bridge at Virginia Lake was used on the front cover of the Wanganui Chronicle calendar 2008.
I have not entered a large number of contests but I have had my photos chosen for a travel website as well as a travel guide.
In 2009 I won the Houston Chronicles Garden Calendar Cover Contest with photo: The Jewel of Rainbow Creek
In 2010 I won the month of December in the Houston Chronicles Garden Calendar Contest with the photo Berries in the Snow
Highly Commended in the environmental photo-essay category, awarded by 'Expose your World'.
I have not won any awards yet. :)
I don't enter my photography into contests.
When 'photographic judges' don't understand what you are getting at... what's the point?
I like to be a bit of a photographic maverick.
A video documentary was produced by Melbourne creative team:
'Mo' Hair Films', about my photography, in 2003. That was like an Award to me.
