I have had several photographs selected for photo journals and books.
I have been published as a photo journalist in The Bavarian Times.
The Magnum Expression Award
Montgomery Photography Competition (overall winner) 2003
Various Merit Awards, professional photographers of America (Midwest Regional Competition) 2004-2008
Buckeye Award, Mid States Regional PPA competition, best landscape, 2004
Dumbauld Award, same show, for best work by 1st time competitor
Minneapolis Landscape Competition, 2010. One of 70 artists (out of several thousand) selected to hang.
i won a photo contest for broken magazine and got a skateboard deck and wheels
Again, I don't submit my work for awards, this is to help women on their path to fall in love with their beautiful soul.
No awards as such, but a photo of mine was used for an international launch campaign for a Samsung mobile phone! It also won me a very nice holiday!

I have never encouraged to participate in any contest or something. FAIL FOR ME!
The works I've done, the jobs where Ive been, the places where it has led me or to expose my pieces at certain galleries (key points) is a great achievement indeed.

I took that photo about 2 years ago. Even if the Daily Daviation is not for me... it was my photo! And I could not be more amazed and happier ever! :D

On the strength of a professional portfolio and interview, I was made Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography.
Nothing yet, I have just begun showing my work, I have been intimidated, never thinking that my work was good enough. Finally, I left my full time job and dedicated to myself solely to my art form. So hopefully, awards will be awaiting me in the future.

So far no awards for my work, other than a print merit from PPA. My goal is to gain some more merits this year and my ultimate goal is to have a print make the Loan collection, but so far those are goals that I hope to make reality. I have attained the designation as Certified Professional Photographer through Professional Photographic Certification Commission. |
