The only exhibition I've ever had was called "Jaded Views" - I painted a part of a city block on large canvas in oils called "Skid Row". I painted an area called Pigeon Park which was and is famous for its down and out drug dealers. The painting was grey as it rains quite frequently from November to April, and I captured the grittiness of the moment. There were other artists as well but for whatever reason, I won first prize. Not bad considering that was my one and only view of work.
