What has been your education as a photographer?
I have studied broadcasting for TV. Video photography
Completely self taught. i am not a classroom type, i prefer to learn at my own pace with is quick. i tend to pick new things up quite naturally and fast.

Studied as School. Communication Arts.
I'm self taught. When I first was interested in photography but couldn't afford a camera I bought a book (I think it was the Joy of Photography) and red it endlessly. When I finally got a camera, I knew what I wanted to do with it - and how.
Over the years, I've just kept reading more and more as well as shooting as much as possible.

I was going back to school to finish my Computer Science degree when I did a one-eighty and got myself into commercial photography. I enrolled at The Art Institute in Denver Colorado and that has turned out to me one of the greatest experiences of my life. I am working alongside some amazing people and taking control of my own vision. Wait, I think they programmed me to say that.

I took a few classes in college and high school doing traditional photography all manual, developing film, and making prints in darkroom. I was originally going to major in photo.
My education in photography began in high school, currently I am finishing up my Bachelors in Fine Art with an emphasis on Photography. I am skilled in developing film and darkroom processing (even though this is dying out). I have also skills with photoshop and very knowledgable about digital photography.
I am self-taught :) I read, read, read and practice, practice, practice!
I've never been educated in the technical part of art photography. My photography has always been a "feeling" when I look through the lens. |
