For how long have you done photography? How did you begin?
6 years and still counting
about 15 years, I began learning with a friend fashion photographer in Brazil, I was 17 years old, then i started skateboarding and shooting action photos.
2.5 years. Took a photography black&white film class and decided this is what I want to do. Love.
I got a Bazooka Joe camera with saved up bubble gum wrappers when I was a kid. This was about 1965. It turned out to be a rubbish toy and as consolation my parents bought me a Kodak Instamatic which I took to immediately.
I've had a strong interest in photography ever since.
I have been doing photography as a profession for 12 years now. I started at Brooks Institute of photography and grew from there.
Began in highschool. Went to Savannah College of art and Design. Graduated with a major in photography and a minor in fibers. I am now a freelance photographer based out of Atlanta, GA. I specialize in beauty, fashion, and food photography.

I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember. My grandmother gave me my first camera (a Pentax K1000) when I was 10 years old, and I have been taking photos ever since...so, now exposing my age, I have been taking photos for over 37 years.
ive been taking photographs most of my life, but really got into it during my time hairdressing, mainly fashion and fine art photogragphy.
It always interested both of us. we began working together about three years ago, and separately about 6 years ago.
I first picked up the camera when I was 9 or 10. I dabbled here and there until I applied for entrance to Emily Carr, Photography was a second choice for me that turned into an all consuming passion once I was immersed in the dual life of shooting and developing and printing.
A long time ago! Photography has been my life for the majority of my life, 18 of my 35 years to be exact. I learned photography in the old fashioned darkroom working with D-76, Dektol and stopbath. In modern photographer terms that makes me rather ancient.
I’ve started 10 years ago, but 2 years ago I went pro. It all started when I received an old-film camera that I loved playing with.
I have been a professional photographer for ten years and a photographer in some capacity for most of my life. I used to work in the film industry in Los Angeles so I began photographing actors' head shots before moving to commercial/advertising photography full-time.
30 years...my father introduced me to it...after which IO submitted mainly sports photos to publications in Scotland...and began getting published |
