Please list three actors and three actresses that you like.
Gary Oldman
Christopher Walken
Helena Bonham Carter
There are loads of people I enjoy watching, but I guess to narrow it to who I think are really good actors I'd say: Patricia Arquette, Judy Dench and Rachel Weisz for the actresses and then Ralph Fiennes, Anthony Hopkins and Robert De Nero for the actors.
Micheal Gambon
Sir Ian Mackelern
Tom Baker
Maggie Smith
Kate OMara
For the men I think it would have to be Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino and Patrick Stewart. For the women Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett and, of course, Judy Dench!
Three? That's difficult, there are a lot. Ok, I'll try and narrow it down.
Men: Chiwetel Ejiofor, James McAvoy, Ralph Fiennes.
Women: Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Emma Thompson.

?
I have never been good at answering this question, as there are so many.
Off the top of my head -
Tilda Swinton inspires me as she lives in a tiny village in Scotland, yet is at the same time, a global superstar. She is a hugely talented actress and has never changed who she is to be successful.
Kate Winslet is fantastic in everything she does, and again has never compromised herself to be a success. She is still a gorgeous, curvy woman and looks amazing.
The person who probably inspired me most when I was starting out in acting was Calista Flockhart. At the time, Ally McBeal was huge and I was a big fan. I thought she was a fantastic actress and quite underrated by many.
In terms of men, again, there are so many, but I'll try to just pick three -
Johnny Depp. Don't think anyone would disagree with that. He's fantastic and has made some amazing career choices over the years, never doing what people expect of him.
Obviously Pacino and Deniro. Enough said.
And I'll go with James McAvoy - again, as he's flying the flag for Scotland and is great! | | |
Alan Rickman,(do I LOVE his portrayal of Professor Snape! lol. He was awesome in 'Rasputin' and 'Robin Hood' too. Johnny Depp, (I've liked him in practically everything, especially the 'Pirates' trilogy and 'Sweeney Todd') and my first love, Frank Langella! (I LOVED him in the 1979 verison of "Dracula"!!) Jamie Lee Curtis, (top faves were 'True Lies', the 'Halloween' series, and a couple others.) Fairuza Balk, (she was the absolute best in 'The Craft'!) and I LOVED Aaliyah in her role of Akasha in "Queen of the Damned".
1. Johnny Depp
2. Mickey Rourke
3. Sean Penn
1. Cate Blanchette
2. Penelope Cruz
3. Parker Posey |
