How did you begin acting?

Whohub

When I was 5 years old a neighbour recommended I join the local drama group. I took to it like a duck to water. So over the years I also took parts in school plays (even writing one when I was 9), went to dance school, sang, played instruments, you name it, I'd do it,anything creative that would involve me being on stage! I wasn't a showoff or attention seeking, which may seem incredible really, I was actually quite shy! But it was something I was good at and I loved it! I studied Theatre as one of my A'levels which was a spring board to me applying to drama school. I went to London, joined the The Royal Court Young Peoples Theatre and went on to train at Drama Centre London.

I,v always been a actor from when little,
But what got me more into acting, Was Errol Flynn, When i saw Flynn in hes movies.

Through being a professional Musician's Union Member I was asked to perform in a children's television show where I was a drum playing dog! This led on to specialising in skinwork and my career took off from there!

I always knew as a child that I wanted to pursue an artistic career but only really took this path in my late 20s when I realised I’d be 30 soon and wasn’t leading the life I wanted to lead! Within a month of that great realisation I signed up for dancing, singing & acting classes in London…it was the acting that kind of took off by itself, without me making a conscious choice at that stage. I just went from taking evening classes and Saturday workshops to part-time drama school after work and then decided to audition for a full-time postgraduate acting degree. I only auditioned at three different drama schools and was lucky enough to get accepted at Mountview straight away.

I acted in school plays from the age of about 10 - then at university - then, after a 3 year hiatus, I went to drama school.

I had always been a bit of a performer as a child (or if you ask my parents - a show off!) I started off doing school shows and going to dance classes, then, when I was eleven years old, a local theatre company advertised in my school for open auditions for a production of the musical 'Annie'. I went along and never expected to get anywhere as there were loads of people auditioning, but as luck would have it I got a part as one of the orphans and have never stopped acting since!

I started dance class at age 3, and acting class at age 5.

I was born into it. I started singing solos at church, and that gave me a great feeling, to perform in front of others. I started searching for other ways to do that, and that led me to musical theatre. After that, I never looked back. I had found my home, my feeling of completeness.

My first time acting was when I was in my school play of Clifford the Big Red Dog. I was in kindergarten, and I got to be Emily Elizabeth. That started my "acting career."

Acting has been a passion in me since a very young age.. I had done various stage plays right from primary school. During my graduation, I acted in numerous short films. Also acted in a TV Serial. Now I have signed my first Feature Film and the shoot will start in a month.

i started acting when i was in my 9th class..and joined an amature theater group when i was doing my graduation...after that i got an opertunity to act in a serial..its a leading role ..and serial is telecasting in sun network..

They started us in musicals when I was only in Kindergarten. From there to sixth grade we did at least one musical a year.
When Jr. High came around I wasn't one of the kids who defined themselves as THE "Theatre kids" so I wasn't in the inner circle. This discouraged me and it wasn't until my sophomore year of high school that I auditioned for "The Somewhat True Tales of Robinhood" and got a small part. From there on in I became part of the inner circle. I began getting the lead roles and winning awards at festivals. From there on I knew that this was what I wanted to do with my life.

i started when i saw an audition sign at my towns center and i thought it would be a fun experience.

I knew at a young age I was meant to be an actor. I never wanted to be anything else growing up, it was always my first choice. In the third grade when I participated in a local commercial, I was bitten by the bug and I haven't been cured (thankfully) yet!

I went to an audition with my twin brothers for a childrens theatre company here in NYC at the age of 15. I had to sing, dance and read from the script. I booked a part in the theatre's company current season and the first play I did was Laughing's Not Easy where I had a large supporting role. I ended up being with the company for 3 years and that is where I met and performed with some of the top names in the industry, such as Ricky Lake, Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, and Victoria Platt.
