|In social settings, do people become interested when you tell them you are a software developer?
Some people do others don't,it depends on what kind of people you socialing with..and yet sometimes, the people you think have no interest in what you do might surprise you...
Only if they are developers too
i am not a software developer...i'm NAPSTEr da hacker
My friends are not computer junkies.
They do get interested if they have a problem since apparently, I can solve anything.. :)
Most people in my locality don't really know what it means.
Software developer no.
But when I'm a web developer making websites - everyone knows the intenet - so it gets much more exciting! Specially when everyone wants a website!
I am absolutely convinced my job does not concern me the view of people
Well, most times, I do not speak about my work in social settings, but whenever I have encountered people who have used a computer (I mean they are accustomed to using a lot of softwares), they sure are interested about my work as a software developer.
Not usually. In the SF Bay area it is a very common profession.
