At the moment, I'm working part time at FINANCIAL POST MAGAZINE, part time at CTV local news (That's right, I cross over into broadcast.) and freelancing in fashion photography to pay the bills. Random, hm? But we all know, a journalist's budding career goes the way her connections do.
I started off in a local newspaper called Fiji's Daily Post. I began there as a cadet reporter in 1996 covering local news. I drifted in and out of that newspaper over the next seven years, mostly because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do in life.
Then in 2002, I was taken in by a new editor there at the time who practically forced me to do some business stories. It was like being thrown into water when you didn't know how to swim. But it was a life changing experience.
Since then, I have been learning business journalism on the job, joined a local bimonthly publication called The Review Magazine (www.fijilive.com) in 2003 and then my present location The Islands Business Magazine (www.islandsbusiness.com) in 2005.
I am currently working for the National Broadcasting Corporation of Papua New Guinea as a Sport Journalist. Have been employed by NBC PNG two years before graduating from the University of Papua New Guinea, in which I also worked as a Tutor in Journalism studies, and a reporter to the newsletter.
Currently I am freelancing.
Recently I published my first book, "Me, My Friend", an anthology of poems.
Previously, I worked with weekly, monthly and quarterly magazines of Chitralekha Group in Mumbai, Deccan Herald newspaper in Bangalore, Oxford University Press in New Delhi, India.

Worked for the united Nations in numerous capacities, including Editor in Chief of its flagship "Monthly Chronicle." Freelance work published in numerous publications around the world.
