I have been self-publishing fanzines and pro-zines since High School, which include Trashfiend [Stigmata Press] and Filthy Habits [Stigmata Press]. I have also authored three published books along the same lines, namely The Gorehound's Guide to Splatter Films of the 1960s & 1970s [McFarland], The Gorehound's Guide to Splatter Films of the 1980s [McFarland], and--most recently--Trashfiend: Disposable Horror Fare of the 1960s & 1970s [Critical Vision].

Presently freelancing for El Diario de Hoy, daily newspaper in El Salvador where I began in 1970. Have also worked for EFE Spanish News Agency, Notimex (Mexican) news agency, and Reuters. Freelanced for radio and TV.
