Which goals have you focused on in your professional career?

Whohub

I create the unknown, not cut it off to contrived circumstances

Any degree holder would want to reach great heights in his/her professional ladder and I am no exception. Knowing myself I can say that, I have always focused on a job where I would love the work, like the people, can contribute and can’t wait to get to work.

To always be #1 or at least in the very top. I like to do a good job.

Carried out my work as well as possible, and learned to continue to develop, and to eventually make my family more prosperous.

writing music and art

Being self employed and able to provide a reasonable existence for my family.
Being true and ethical.
Being a supportive mentor to those who seek their own development.
Being the best past life regressionist I can be.
Helping others find their higher path.

Professionally I just want to follow my passions in a way that allows me to help others, but continue to grow individually as well. I want to bring together my passion for education, life long learning, self development, and the art of Photography.

In both of my careers I focus on openness, honesty, unconditional positive regard for everyone I deal with, kindness, sharing and community-building.

Early on, I was focused on advancing - moving up in an organization, managing a larger budget and greater headcount.
Over the years I've realized that what drives me are:
1. Building successful products - this is what keeps me happy
2. Working with a good team and finding the right corporate culture. When you work with the right people, no problem is insurmountable; when you work with the wrong people, no problem is too insignificant to stymie creativity and success.

My main goal has been to be able to support myself by selling an performing my art work!!

My goal in my professional career was to ensure that my bosses were protected, that nothing that I ever did would cause them to fear incarceration or penalty. In my career, no person was ever hurt or killed as I have seen for some of my predacessors. There were no fees, fines or imprisonment because of anything I worked on.

Getting to spend every day doing things I actually love doing has been a huge force. Also the fact that Im able to work from my own home and hopefully in the future will be able to make a nice profit from it.

The goal of working for myself and achieving financial, lifestyle targets. They are not necessarily the most important goals to achieve I realise. I have tried to compensate for that mis-focus in my four year civic role as an elected councillor in which i took huge pride in simply improving the town and helping people with issues and problems.

Currently, I am working part-time as a recruiter/sourcing consultant. I am trying to transition myself into a full-time position in either Recruitment or a more focused HR role.

As a Sales person, you need to understand the Sales process. That's ongoing, forever. Get used to it.

I also place great importance on long-term relationships on the Client/Agency side, as they will buy from you in 10 years, and 4 jobs from now, if they like you. Note that those very companies matter less. It is YOU here that matters.

These days, I am also looking more at placing myself in places where my Sales effort matters, period.
