I've never busked but feel I aught to..
I used to busk at least once a week. When I did it in Kettering I could make about £30 a day. When I moved to Loughborough I got more grief than money, such as being told to get a job or being moved on by tramps who wanted their favourite drinking/ begging spot. I soon lost interest.
I played some good gigs in town centers in Gemany, Austria, Slovenia and Bosnia a few years ago with the band Stimulus. I suppose it was technically busking as there were charity collections going on.

Yes, three times. The most lucrative time (1993) probably brought in about £25, between four of us, in one afternoon.

no, even though I audition and got the part to do it, eventually I backed off.
I've never did it in this country but I've busked in France and Italy. I loved it I can't remember how much I made but it was enough for beer and food at the time
I have with some students at the place I work. We collected £70 in an hour for charity - but they did most of the work!
