How do you feel right before going out on stage?

Whohub

Breathing is really important, as is setting an intention for what I want to communicate and what experience I want to offer people. It's always an act of devotion to offer performance. I always visualise myself in my performance setting many times before I actually perform and feel into it. For me its a deeply spiritual experience of connecting to the creative source and communicating love and energy to those around me. Brushing my teeth beforehand is also important!:)

Like I want to throw up.

I go through stages of emotions before going on to perform. During sound check I'm calm and usually taking in all the surroundings. Before the show I'm extremely hyper until show time then the nerves start. After the rush of first song everything starts feeling normal.

Calm and excited to perform and hopefully blow people's expectations out of the water.

depends what i'm doing. if its a song im very confident with then great. ready to knock em dead if you will

were the people behind the music so i feel great seeing people performing our music on stage

I Haven't Done This in a While Due to the Agoraphobia but Basically it Was Intense Nerves and Feelings of Nausea Right Up until Getting On Stage, then The Second I Started Singing a Wave of Deep Euphoria would Wash Over Me.

I have NEVER played live

Usually looking forward to it, I get a pleasant little tingle of butterflys but as soon as you step on the stage they go away. I remember the first time I played a gig I was shaking so bad I was worried about being able to play the guitar but as soon as I had to hit that first chord the nerves left.

always have butterflies but after the music starts they go away.

Anxious.

Like I want to crawl out of my skin. Then something takes hold the moment I step on stage & I no longer feel like I steering the boat. What happens and what comes out feels like it is propelled from another source. Sounds cliche I guess. It's like when you get into a shopping cart and your friend pushes you real fast. You can't do much, but experience the surge of the ride.

Terrified, excited.

I want to smash it!

I feel extremely excited. I take every show like its gonna be my last and i just get as much energy as i can from everyone
